Best Western Plus Banff International Lodge

Friendly staff from front desk to house keeping. We arrived a bit early in banff and the staff were able to check us in at 12pm. Room is spacious and clean. The view from our room was great . Best location, it is located in the heart of banff which is walking distance to everything like restaurants , convenience store, bus stops etc. breakfast is good compared to other hotels.

Excellent stay at the Best Western Plus Banff hotel. Four of us stayed there for six nights during our Banff ski trip. The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable with an excellent hot breakfast. It’s also perfect for skiers with underground parking, ski locker in the parking garage and a small pool and hot tub. Great location too. I might whine a little about the small hot tub, but the affordable rates here make that forgivable. This property is now our new go-to hotel in Banff. Thanks for a great stay!

We found a deal in this hotel, and it's great comparing to neighboring Irwins/Red Carpet where we usually go. Despite of outdated look outside, it's renovated and cozy inside. You also get a free breakfast, underground parking, large TV (Android based! ) and a good coffee machine at the lobby. They also have a small pool/hot tub with a partial view of the mountains. I wish they had working fireplace in the lobby (it looks great but was off unfortunately) and didn't take all Christmas-related decor on 6th (after all, it's still Orthodox Christmas). I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Banff.

The Best Western Banff was perfect for our trip. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We had breakfast every morning (waffles and sausages or pancakes and bacon with coffee and orange juice). The location was perfect and was not only easily accessible to the Main Street and the Roam Bus system but we could also easily access hikes like Bow River Falls, Cave & Basin/the Marsh Loop, and Tunnel Mountain. The facilities were all clean and the hot tub was the perfect place to wind down after a long hike. Also the front desk allowed us to borrow a can of bear spray for the week which saved us from needing to purchase our own, we just returned it at the end of our stay. We were there for a week and it was a great stay.

The rooms were comfortable and clean (we were also lucky enough to have a lovely view of the mountains from our room), and the location is perfect (right on Banff Ave and a close walk to all the amenities you'll need). The staff were kind and clearly run a tight ship, making our trip really special. Their underground parking was great, especially for the colder winter months, and their breakfast buffet which was included with our room price was great; they had pancakes, toast, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, oatmeal, muffins, cereal, coffee and juice! Really great value - we would stay here again!

All the employees are kind, accommodating, and always greet and smile to the guests, and they are all Filipinos! The room is clean and well taken care of, not to mention that it has a perfect mountain view and is affordable. The hotel is located in the heart of Banff Ave. where you can easily access restaurants and shops. The only thing I think they need to improve is their breakfast options. The options are totally the same everyday. Breakfast potatoes and sausages or bacon. I recommend changing it everyday and offering variety of options.

Great value !! It's hard to find a quality hotel in Banff that won't break the pockets. This hotel offered everything we were looking for at a fraction of the cost of other hotels in this area. Rooms were updated and clean! Great location! Super friendly staff! Nice pool area! Great complimentary breakfast! Free underground parking! We will definitely be back!

Breakfast spread is simple but definitely adequate to keep us full. Love the self service hot coffee/ tea machine at the lobby. Heated pool is small and good when not crowded. Accommodation is dog friendly. Location is walkable to town. Could be quite unstaffed as when I checked in and based on 2 more days of observations, each time one staff at the reception counter is Incharge of 1) check in check out 2) monitoring of camera security 3) additional towels / soap disbursement 4) mopping of lobby floor Etc etc
